Grape Varieties Used: Frappato 50%, Nero d'Avola 50%
Location: Buteresi hills – Arancio Mautana district – 350m above sea level
Soil: Calcareous mixed with marly clays
Vineyard: 4,000 vines/ha arranged east-west with Guyot pruning
Harvest: Manual at the end of September – 7.5 tonnes/ha
Agronomic Practices: Manual cultivation without the use of chemical substances, organic farming techniques employed.
Vinification: With maceration on the skins and use of natural yeasts, malolactic fermentation carried out.
Ageing: In stainless steel for approximately 1 year, 8 months in the bottle
Organoleptic Characteristics: Cherry red colour; aromas of cherry, strawberry, green pepper; very balanced and aromatic taste; soft tannins
