Location: Buteresi hills – Arancio Mautana district – 350m above sea level
Soil: Calcareous-gypsum mixed with marly clays
Vineyard: 4,000 vines/ha arranged east-west with Guyot pruning
Harvest: Manual in mid-September – 9 tonnes/ha
Agronomic Practices: Manual cultivation without the use of chemical substances, organic farming techniques employed.
Vinification: With long maceration on the skins and use of natural yeasts, malolactic fermentation carried out.
Ageing: In stainless steel for approximately 9 months, 6 months in the bottle
Organoleptic Characteristics: Intense purple-red colour with ruby reflections; aromas of blueberry, red mulberries, plum, Mediterranean scrub and spices; decisive, broad and persistent taste; elegant tannins
