One of the world's most famous cocktails, its origins date back to the early 1700s when it was used by British Army doctors for its life-saving quinine properties used against malaria. Given its very bitter nature, they thought to mix it with water, sugar, lime, and finally gin to make the drink more palatable. The Gin & Tonic by Moro ‘947 remains faithful to the historic recipe while revisiting some tasting notes with distinctly Mediterranean hints.
